Blood Borne Pathogens Training

The Bloodborne Pathogens awareness course includes information that will help students with their understanding of what Bloodborne Pathogens are, and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. We will discuss methods of disease transmission, work practice controls, universal precautions, handling and disposal of contaminated items, and personal and protective clothing and equipment.
